Elementary Band Program (CRPD)

The Conejo Recreation & Park District will be offering the Elementary Band Program at Conejo Valley Unified Schools as part of a before or afterschool program for the 2025-26 school year. At this time, the traditional beginning band program will be held on campus at Acacia, Aspen, Banyan, Cypress, EARThS, Lang Ranch, Sycamore Canyon, Weathersfield, Westlake, Westlake Hills, and Wildwood only.

For Advanced Bands, we are offering four locations for a Elementary Band Ensemble at one elementary school campus for each main area of town. One at EARThS Magnet School, Westlake Hills Elementary, one at Lang Ranch Elementary, and one at Weathersfield Elementary. This year, we have added an advanced ensemble on the campus of Redwood Middle School as well. Sycamore Canyon will be the only school holding a traditional advanced band for their students only. The ensembles are open to all 4th and 5th graders in the community from CVUSD, private, and home schools with 1 or more year of experience. The later start times will allow students from nearby areas to get to an alternative site and to allow those interested in music a chance to continue to learn and grow. Those enrolled for the entire school year will be eligible to participate in the All-District Music Festival.

Program Info:

• Tuition: $230 per session.
• Sessions: Two per school year. (Fall and Spring)
• Eligibility: Students enrolled for the entire year are eligible for the All-District Music Festival.
