New This Year!!!

We are also offering three locations for a Elementary Strings Ensemble at one elementary school campus for each area of town. One at EARThS Magnet School, Westlake Hills Elementary, and one at Wildwood Elementary. This new version of the program is open to eligible 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in the community from CVUSD, private, and home schools. The later start time allows students from nearby areas to get to an alternative site and to allow those interested in music a chance to continue to learn and grow. Those enrolled for the entire school year will be eligible to participate in the All-District Music Festival.

  • The Newbury Park Ensemble option at EARThS Elementary will be from 4-5 pm for beginners and 5-6 pm for advanced.
  • The Westlake Ensemble option at Westlake Hills  Elementary will be from 3:30-4:30 pm for beginners and 4:30-5:30 pm for advanced strings.
  • The Thousand Oaks Ensemble option at Wildwood Elementary will be from 3:30-4:30 pm for beginners and 4:30-5:30 pm for advanced strings.
