An imaginative and charming adaptation of Louis May Alcott’s beloved novel. Follow responsible Meg, rebellious and creative Jo, shy Beth, and mannerly Amy as they navigate the challenges of life, love, and being a young woman in Concord, Mass. in the 1860s.

Auditions will last approximately two hours and may include cold reading from the script and some improvisation.
Important Dates
- Callbacks: Monday, August 25 from 5:00-10:00pm
- Parent Meeting: Wednesday, August 27 from 6:00-7:00pm
- Rehearsals: Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am -1:00pm
- Performances: November 7-23, 2025 (participants must be available for all performances)
Other Details
- Auditions are by appointment only
- Participants must be at least 10 and not yet 20 years old by the closing performance on November 23, 2025
- Auditions, Rehearsals, & Performances held in the Theatre on the Hill at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts; 403 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
- There is a $210 participation fee; financial assistance available
